Today I had a pre-surgery records appointment with my orthodontist. I had new photographs, new x-rays, two sets of impressions, wax bites, and face-bow measurements.
I am in some pain after the impressions--they were not easy. The upper one was especially painful by my left TMJ where I have the most degeneration. My cheek actually feels a bit numb still, even though it's several hours later.
It's hard to believe the surgery is coming so soon. In two weeks I have my pre-op appointment with my surgeon, and then two weeks later, surgery.
