Narcissism, why not?

I was fooling around with Photo Booth last night.  I realized it's pretty self-absorbed to sit there taking pictures of yourself...whatever.  I've been hesitant to post any full on shots of how I look presently.  But, with Photo Booth effects, I feel somewhat disguised, and I actually felt pretty last night!  So here goes!

I know it's hard to see in these pics, but my chin tilts off to the left, and actually the whole left side of my face is a bit higher.  It looks a bit like I'm raising my eyebrow, but really it's just higher up on my face!  I do sort of wonder if that asymmetry will look worse once the bottom half of my face is fixed.

  1. Your asymmetry is what I have not post-surgery but did not have pre-surgery! But it looks fine on you. I think it bothers me on myself just because I am not used to it. You look great though! I hope your surgery does not change you too much because you look really good! What is your surgeon planning on doing? Just upper jaw? Both? I doubt genio because your chin is perfect.

  2. Thanks Tina! From what I know so far, he will do both jaws. He'll move the bottom one forward and tilt it (maybe needing to add some bone to correct the asymmetry). He'll bring the top jaw forward and rotate it. I don't think I'll need a genio, because the chin itself is fine. It should be brought forward enough just by bringing the lower jaw forward.

you make a point sometimes you have to risk it if its worth it. your very pretty by the way. =)
asymmetry should be fixed if the surgeon acknowledges it and does the measurements right.
just gotta be ready for the road after..but youll make it =D
wishing you the best and praying everything goes smoothly
