My 2nd molars seem to be way ahead of everyone else in the moving game. So, my bite is shifting to even a more wonky position as my jaw tries to adjust to my pseudo-bite.
Note how far off the midlines are off now.
Cross bite is also getting worse. Overjet is more too.
Bite is becoming even more open.

I was told my overjet will get bigger now that I've got braces on, so try not to worry about it too much. It seems like we have to look worse before we can get better! I don't really understand why they do this, but I'm sure they know what they're doing!
ReplyDeleteBy the time i was ready for surgery, There were only 2 teeth in my mouth that actually made contact. It gets way worse and then on surgery day, they put your jaws together and form a perfect bite.. Hang in there, its a long road but worth it all Promise...

Thanks Sarah and Tresa! I had heard that it would have to get worse before it could get better. It's so interesting how they know what to do with positioning the teeth while the jaw is still in the wrong position. I can't wait to have a perfect bite! :)
